The Roanoke Girls
The Roanoke Girls by Amy Engel is a compelling novel about real issues. It is about a girl who struggles with suicide and is sent to live with her grandparents. Eleven years later, Lane is in Los Angeles and her grandfather calls her and tells her that her cousin is missing. Is she gone? Is she dead?I really enjoyed Engel's writing and I thought it was very intriguing.
