Shaken by Tim Tebow Review

Shaken: Tim Tebow

"Continue to fight. Continue to hope. Continue to have faith. I promise  you it's worth it."-Tim Tebow in Shaken
And I promise you it's worth it to read this book. Tim Tebow has a strong message for Christians young and old in his new book, Shaken. This book is about standing firm in Christ when it seems that your foundation is shaken. It's about Tebow's losses and how he recovered from them. He mentions a lot about children he's met through the W15H (pronounced "wish") program, which gives disabled kids a chance to do whatever they want to do for the day. Shaken is Scripture-based, most importantly, which adds God's perspectives on Tebow's experiences and how he could have or did do what God wanted him to.

This book is a wonderful read. I loved the way Tebow incorporated stories from his football career into how to be a better Christian and live your life for Jesus. The book sis based on the quote, "It's not about who you are, it's about whose you are" and Tebow did a fantastic job including this quote throughout the book. Tebow also did a wonderful job at showing that identity is more than what we do- it's who we do it for.

I give this book 5 stars because it is a light and easy read, but it is filled with so much depth and insight. Tebow really did an impeccable job on this book and topic. He includes all aspects of identifying yourself in Christ and gave personal experiences to back up his ideas. I believe wholeheartedly that Tim Tebow is an excellent role model for Christians everywhere, simply based on the fact that he knows who he is in Christ, and he is willing to stand up for what he believes in.

Me Before You: My Review

Me Before You: My Review

Me Before You is about an Englishwoman, Louisa Clark, who gets a job working for a quadriplegic, Will Traynor. He is a complete jerk to her in the beginning because he feels that his life sucks, which let's be honest: It kinda does. He can only move a few fingers from the neck down. As he starts to warm up to her, she starts to like him. But when Louisa finds out something that is unimaginable about Will, how will she proceed with her choice to work for him?

When I was reading Me Before You, I fell in love with it so fast. I loved how much it changed my life. It changed my way of thinking, my way of acting, and my way of loving. It completely encaptured the thought processes going through someone's head when they are falling love. I absolutely love this book! I would recommend it to anyone who loves unique love stories and love a good cry.
